Aziende e allevatori in crisi: ancora ritardi per gli aiuti dall’Ue
A sette mesi dallo scoppio della crisi dovuta alla guerra in Ucraina e le promesse della Commissione europea sul sostegno al settore della pesca e dell’acquacoltura, nulla ancora è stato fatto.
A marzo, infatti, era stato avviato un pacchetto finanziario per sostenere i settori attraverso il meccanismo di crisi del Fondo europeo per gli affari marittimi, la pesca e l’acquacoltura. Un secondo pacchetto era stato concordato ad aprile. A sollevare la questione è stata la Federazione dei produttori europei di acquacoltura (FEAP).
Le aziende e gli allevatore di pesci nell’Unione non sarebbero ancora stati raggiunti dagli aiuti e dai risarcimenti urgenti sperati. Tante sono le sfide che l’industria sta affrontando: il prezzo elevato dei mangimi, il prezzo eccessivo dell’ossigeno, i costi di trasporto e un tasso di inflazione vertiginoso che colpisce i materiali di imballaggio, la manutenzione e la manodopera.
Le regole di compensazione implicano che il settore sia pagato per azienda e non per sito anche se la maggior parte degli operatori possiede e gestisce più siti. Ciò rende gli aiuti insufficienti nella maggior parte dei casi, afferma la FEAP.
“Gli sforzi per rendere nuovamente redditizia l’industria dell’allevamento ittico sono falliti a causa dell’attuazione eccessivamente prudente delle leggi ambientali europee a livello nazionale e regionale”, si legge nella dichiarazione della FEAP. “Una soluzione a questo passerebbe attraverso la definizione di obiettivi legalmente vincolanti sulla produzione dell’acquacoltura per Stato membro”.
