Continua all’allarme sui collegamenti marittimi, Del Bono: “Tappo al turismo”
Federalberghi Isole Minori Sicilia insiste sulla questione dei collegamenti marittimi che continua ad allarmare in particolare le isole Eolie e le Egadi e denuncia come questa possa di fatto rappresenti un tappo allo sviluppo turistico delle piccole isole siciliane.
I flussi turistici di settembre e ottobre sono tali da non giustificare il passaggio ai penalizzanti orari invernali.
“Nonostante le richieste avanzate da noi il 20 agosto e il 6 settembre e quelle sottoposte all’Assessorato regionale dal Sindaco di Lipari – spiega il presidente Christian Del Bono – nelle Eolie, sin dall’11 settembre le linee statali sono passate all’assetto invernale, quelle regionali lo fanno da oggi (16 settembre) e le linee da Palermo e Messina lo faranno a partire dal 18. Oltre alla grossa confusione generata dal disallineamento delle date, i disagi non mancano perché la domanda di trasporto continua ad essere elevata tanto che si registrano diverse corse indisponibili soprattutto nei giorni e nelle fasce orarie di maggiore afflusso“.
Anche nelle Egadi – dove i catamarani continuano a viaggiare a pieno carico – tanto gli operatori turistici rappresentati dall’A.T.A. quanto l’amministrazione comunale, lamentano il mancato prolungamento estivo delle tratte ministeriali ed, in particolare, chiedono a gran voce il ripristino delle corse serali, fondamentali anche per i collegamenti con gli aeroporti.
Nella direzione dell’esigenza di garantire un’estensione degli orari estivi vanno anche i contenuti del nuovo bando regionale che, una volta assegnato, prevedrà per l’appunto un’alta stagione dal 1° giugno al 30 settembre e una media stagione per i mesi di aprile, maggio e ottobre.
Per tali motivi, si ribadiscono le richieste già avanzate all’Assessore Falcone per un’estensione degli orari estivi sino al 30 settembre. In subordine, si chiede che siano almeno inserite alcune corse straordinarie strategiche con l’intento di non penalizzare l’utenza nelle fasce orarie di punta.
Sul versante della convenzione che regolamenta i servizi statali SNS (dove è necessario assicurare il mantenimento della consistenza del naviglio e delle miglia percorse e adottare opportuni meccanismi di monitoraggio) e in relazione al ripristino di alcune previsioni a valere anche sui servizi integrativi regionali (mezzo di riserva, liberty card, ottimizzazione di alcuni orari/corse), nelle Eolie, si guarda con interesse al consiglio comunale congiunto che si terrà sabato a Salina tra le quattro amministrazioni eoliane. Mentre alle Egadi si è già in grande subbuglio visti gli importanti tagli previsti tanto sulle corse statali quanto sui servizi integrativi regionali.
Si evidenzia, infine, che ad oggi tutte le tratte inerenti ai servizi integrativi regionali non risultano disponibili sui sistemi di prenotazione dopo il 30 settembre. Questo perché non è ancora stata ancora effettuata né una proroga dei servizi attuali né l’assegnazione dei nuovi servizi a seguito delle gare conclusesi. Tutto ciò crea gravi danni in quanto rende visibili e prenotabili soltanto un numero minimo di corse rispetto a quelle che saranno effettivamente disponibili a partire dal primo ottobre.
