Egadi, avaria al motore e barca alla deriva: paura per 13 turisti
Tredici turisti ed il Comandante di una imbarcazione utilizzata per gite turistiche nell’arcipelago delle Egadi sono stati soccorsi dalla motovedetta CP 330 della Guardia Costiera di Trapani tra l’isola di Favignana e quella di Marettimo.
Il mare mosso con onde di circa due metri e raffiche di vento da maestrale di 20/25 nodi hanno provocato un’avaria al motore. Ricevuta la chiamata d’emergenza effettuata dal Comandante dell’unità in difficoltà – che non riusciva più a manovrare e governare in sicurezza a causa delle avverse condizioni di mare e vento incontrate e della concomitante avaria agli ingranaggi del motore entrobordo – la Sala operativa della Guardia Costiera di Trapani ha inviato subito sul punto indicato la motovedetta SAR/SVH CP 330, che dopo 45 minuti di navigazione ha raggiunto l’unità in pericolo.
