Il Blue Day di Marevivo a Sciacca il 29 Luglio: ecco tutti i dettagli
Dopo la tappa di Ustica torna a far tappa a Sciacca il Blue Day di Marevivo Onlus. L’evento consisterà in un laboratorio di educazione ambientale in spiaggia coinvolgendo bambini e adulti in attività ludico didattiche aventi come tema il mare.
Il Blue Day è gratuito e si svolgerà venerdì 29 Luglio dalle 10 alle 13 presso la spiaggia di Contrada Foggia e vedrà la collaborazione del locale comitato e della scuola di lingue AltraLingua che , come in passato, tradurrà in inglese alcuni concetti del laboratorio di biologia marina tenuto dai volontari di Marevivo. Un modo per coinvolgere eventuali turisti stranieri ma anche per rafforzare le competenze linguistiche dei più piccoli.
Non a caso il Blue Day farà tappa in Contrada Foggia. Marevivo ha sottoscritto nei mesi scorsi un protocollo d’intesa per la costituzione di “Foggia No Plastic Beach” che fa registrare tale spiaggia tra le prime spiagge plastic free in Sicilia. Grazie a tale protocollo a breve saranno assegnate le “stelle marine” di Marevivo che, al pari del metodo di valutazione usato per gli hotel, valuteranno le azioni plastic free adoperate dagli stabilimenti balneari della zona.
L’iniziativa è stata anche pubblicizzata nell’ambito del Greenvalley Pop Fest che si è svolto domenica scorsa a Sciacca.
Saranno presenti al Blue Day anche i piccoli “Guardiani del mare” che stanno giornalmente svolgendo il loro importante ruolo di salvaguardia della spiaggia, informando i bagnanti e ripulendo se necessario la spiaggia.
