Palermo, arriva l’accordo tra Comune e Autorità portuale: al via la realizzazione del Mercato Ittico
Approvato oggi in consiglio comunale il piano delle alienazioni, atto propedeutico al bilancio. L’attuale provvedimento prevede anche la definizione dell’accordo e la firma del protocollo d’intesa tra il Comune e l’Autorità portuale della Sicilia Occidentale per la realizzazione del nuovo Mercato Ittico.
“Dopo due anni, torna a essere approvato in consiglio comunale il piano delle alienazioni, a dimostrazione dell’impegno dell’amministrazione per rimettere in ordine i conti del Comune. Nell’ambito del piano, è importante notare come questo contenga anche un passaggio importante per il percorso che porta al rilancio del Mercato Ittico, uno spazio identitario della città che merita di essere rivalutato. Sarà fondamentale in questo senso la collaborazione tra l’amministrazione comunale e l’Autorità portuale con il suo presidente Pasqualino Monti per dare al Mercato Ittico un nuovo volto e scrivere una nuova pagina della sua storia. Un’occasione che il Comune non può perdere”, afferma il sindaco Roberto Lagalla.

“La delibera del piano delle alienazioni, approvata oggi dal consiglio comunale che ringrazio per la sensibilità, è uno degli atti propedeutici al bilancio. In questo caso si tratta del piano 2022 nel quale, oltre a una serie di immobili di edilizia residenziale pubblica, ci sono alcuni immobili di pregio e aree fra le quali quella nella quale ricade il Mercato Ittico e che ci consentirà di definire il protocollo d’intesa con l’Autorità Portuale per la realizzazione in tempi rapidissimi del nuovo mercato in un rapporto di proficua collaborazione con l’Autorità di sistema portuale del mare della Sicilia Occidentale che ci darà la possibilità di riqualificare e restituite al tessuto economico della città una nuova e più funzionale area. La sfida dell’amministrazione sarà quella di predisporre nel più breve tempo e, contestualmente, all’approvazione definitiva del piano di riequilibrio un nuovo piano di alienazioni che sia finalizzato a una profonda valorizzazione delle aree e degli immobili del patrimonio comunale per far divenire lo stesso non più un fardello come accaduto in alcuni casi ma una tangibile risorsa per l’ente locale”, spiega l’assessore al Patrimonio e alla Riqualificazione costiera Andrea Mineo.
