Il peschereccio, dopo aver raggiunto il porto di Porticello, con la collaborazione della locale autorità marittima, ha proceduto a sbarcare il pescato che, a seguito dell’accertamento da parte del locale servizio veterinario, è stato destinato ad istituti caritatevoli e di beneficenza.
Le attività di controllo svolte dai militari dipendenti dell’Ufficio Circondariale Marittimo, sono state rivolte infatti a verificare il rispetto delle normative europee che tutelano alcuni stock ittici, quali il gambero rosso di profondità, la cui cattura non è consentita a seguito del raggiungimento della quota nazionale, garantendo come sempre la tutela delle risorse ittiche e dall’ambiente marino.
