Porti Isole minori, aggiudicati i lavori a Stromboli e Panarea CLICCA PER LE FOTO
Stromboli e Panarea avranno presto scali portuali adeguati, recuperando così funzionalità e decoro. È stata infatti aggiudicata definitivamente la gara indetta dalla Regione Siciliana, tramite l’assessorato alle Infrastrutture. A eseguire i lavori nelle due isole delle Eolie sarà la ditta Chiofalo costruzioni Srl di San Filippo del Mela, che si ha presentato un’offerta con il ribasso del 25,7979 per cento su un importo a base d’asta di 792 mila euro.
Nel progetto, redatto dal servizio Infrastrutture marittime e portuali del dipartimento delle Infrastrutture, è prevista la ripavimentazione del porto di Panarea e degli approdi di Ginostra e Scari a Stromboli, la manutenzione o la sostituzione di attrezzature e opere in ferro esistenti, il risanamento del muraglione nel caso di Stromboli. I lavori, il cui avvio è previsto per il 15 ottobre, dovranno concludersi entro il 4 aprile del prossimo anno.

Anche questo impegno è stato mantenuto, assieme ai tanti in questi cinque anni, per riqualificare la portualità minore siciliana, dimenticata da decenni”.

Dal canto suo l’assessore alle Infrastrutture Marco Falcone aggiunge: “Negli ultimi mesi Stromboli ha vissuto fasi difficili che, ancora una volta, hanno evidenziato quanto sia importante disporre di efficienti infrastrutture portuali nelle isole minori siciliane. Siamo partiti dalla manutenzione ordinaria, purtroppo da anni dimenticata sia a Scari che a Ginostra. Presto partiranno così i lavori che renderanno più funzionali e sicuri i due approdi dell’isola, vitali per il turismo e la vita quotidiana degli isolani e ancor di più in situazioni di emergenza. In questi cinque anni, in tutte le isole minori della nostra regione abbiamo realizzato, o stiamo per avviare, almeno un intervento di risanamento, riqualificazione e manutenzione di ciascun porto, come da tempo non si registrava“.
