Riqualificato il litorale di Romagnolo: l’iniziativa di collettivi e cittadini
“Tanti e tante i ragazzi e gli abitanti del quartiere e della città che oggi hanno partecipato alla riqualifica del litorale di Romagnolo, da decenni lasciato all’abbandono e all’incuria. Collettivi tra cui Fridays For Future Palermo, Caracol Albergheria, APE – Assemblea Popolare Ecologista, ma anche tante associazioni, comuni cittadini e studenti medi, universitari e giovani precari si sono incontrati oggi per iniziare tutti e tutte insieme un percorso che riporti all’attenzione delle istituzioni lo stato di abbandono vergognoso in cui si trovano i territori e i quartieri al di fuori del centro della città“. Lo dice una nota degli organizzatori dell’iniziativa.
“Quello che pretendiamo dall’amministrazione comunale che è responsabile dello stato di degrado in cui si trova quest’area è un qualcosa che ormai dovrebbe essere dato per scontato e per il quale tutti si riempiono la bocca, ma che nessuno purtroppo fa davvero: un vero piano di riqualificazione delle aree verdi e dei litorali della nostra città grazie all’assunzione di nuovi operatori ecologici. In un periodo storico in cui la “transizione ecologica” e l’inquinamento si trovano al centro delle campagne elettorali di politicanti e partiti che lucrano dalla devastazione dei territori per questa volta intanto saremo costretti a pensarci noi. Riprendiamoci la spiaggia dei palermitani e rendiamola viva” aggiungono. Per questo stanotte è stato affisso di fronte al comune – insieme ad alcuni sacchetti di immondizia raccolti in spiaggia – uno striscione che recita: “Crisi ecologica ed economica: più posti di lavoro ai disoccupati nei nostri territori”.
