Sicilia, Musumeci: «L’insularità da oggi è un impegno per tutti»
«Superare gli svantaggi derivanti dall’insularità diventano, da oggi, un impegno preciso per lo Stato, consacrato nella Costituzione. È una vittoria per tutti gli isolani d’Italia». Lo dichiara il presidente della Regione Siciliana, Nello Musumeci, dopo il voto della Camera dei deputati che ha così definito la lunga procedura per la modifica dell’articolo 119 della Costituzione.
«Continueremo a lavorare, in sinergia con Bruxelles e Roma, affinché vivere su un’isola non sia più una maledizione o un problema, ma una straordinaria opportunità, in termini di dotazione infrastrutturale, servizi essenziali e qualità della vita. Voglio ringraziare il vicepresidente Gaetano Armao per avere sempre creduto a questo obiettivo e per averlo perseguito, per conto del governo regionale, con passione e tenacia».
