Stretto di Messina: il Ministro Giovannini istituisce un tavolo tecnico per il miglioramento dell’attraversamento dinamico
Con un decreto del Ministro delle Infrastrutture e della Mobilità Sostenibili, Enrico Giovannini, è stato istituito presso il Mims un Tavolo tecnico per analizzare possibili miglioramenti per l’attraversamento dinamico dello Stretto di Messina. L’obiettivo è quello di coordinare le strategie e l’azione amministrativa dei soggetti istituzionali coinvolti ed elaborare proposte per la definizione di un sistema unitario, anche dal punto di vista tariffario, delle forme di attraversamento dinamico dello Stretto, inclusi i collegamenti marittimi veloci di passeggeri e i servizi di trasporto pubblico locale a terra, assicurando integrazione delle reti, accessibilità, qualità, flessibilità adeguate alle esigenze di mobilità attuali e future. Al Tavolo, coordinato dall’Ammiraglio Ispettore Nunzio Martello, del Comando Generale del Corpo delle Capitanerie di Porto, partecipano a titolo gratuito i rappresentanti del Mims, delle Regioni Calabria e Siciliana delle Città Metropolitane di Reggio Calabria e di Messina, dell’Autorità di Sistema Portuale dello Stretto e da esperti delle Università degli Studi di Reggio Calabria e Messina.
Su temi specifici, il Coordinatore può invitare a partecipare al Tavolo tecnico, sempre a titolo gratuito, esperti e rappresentanti istituzionali delle società pubbliche o private che operano su tali territori. La Struttura Tecnica di Missione per l’indirizzo strategico, lo sviluppo delle infrastrutture e l’Alta sorveglianza del Mims garantisce il supporto alle attività tramite una segreteria tecnica.
Secondo quanto prevede il Decreto, il Tavolo tecnico si riunisce periodicamente presso la sede del Ministero su convocazione del Coordinatore e riferisce i risultati al Ministro ogni sei mesi.
