Federalberghi Isole Minori Sicilia torna alla carica sul tema dei collegamenti marittimi e scrive al Ministero dei trasporti e alla Regione Siciliana reiterando le richieste avanzate lo scorso 28 giugno e chiedendo di estendere l’orario estivo al 30 settembre anche per il comparto Eolie.
“Siamo molto preoccupati perché da oltre un anno abbiamo la sensazione di rimbalzare contro un muro di gomma. È vero, alcune istanze a valere sul nuovo bando per i servizi integrativi regionali, ormai in fase di aggiudicazione, sono state accolte dall’Assessore Falcone (come una migliore suddivisione dei periodi stagionali) ma su altre questioni si rimane decisamente in alto mare“. A dichiararlo il presidente delle piccole isole siciliane di Federalberghi, Christian Del Bono.
“Iniziamo dai famigerati aumenti tariffari che hanno investito i mezzi a sovvenzione statale a partire dal 22 giugno scorso. Questi, – insiste Del Bono – sono rimasti tali; si è solo riusciti ad evitare un ulteriore aumento. Ancora più grave la situazione inerente agli annunciati tagli che investiranno le isole siciliane sui mezzi statali (navi e aliscafi) a partire dall’1° ottobre o in ogni caso dal periodo “invernale”. Ad esempio, nel comparto Eolie, si assisterà al taglio di una corsa della tratta su Napoli, ma anche ad una riduzione delle corse da e per Milazzo, oltre che alla perdita di un aliscafo su quattro. Anche su Ustica e nelle isole Egadi si assiste ad una rimodulazione e a un ridimensionamento di corse non favorevoli”.
“Sul bando regionale, ormai in via di aggiudicazione, si sarebbero dovuti apportare gli accorgimenti più volte richiesti in fase di stesura, come ad esempio la messa a disposizione del mezzo di riserva, le agevolazioni un tempo previste dalla Liberty Card per i pendolari, una politica tariffaria meno rigida e penalizzante per i mezzi commerciali che viaggiano in nave per rifornire le isole. In questo caso ci si chiede come la Regione Siciliana possa far fronte alle rassicurazioni verbali più volte esternate dall’Assessore Falcone tese a soddisfare le legittime richieste dei territori micro insulari“.
“Sul versante degli assetti a sovvenzione statale, – conclude Del Bono –, è opportuno che il Ministero faccia la propria parte, stanziando gli importi necessari per ripristinarli e che la Regione, alla quale sono attribuite le funzioni di programmazione in materia di collegamenti marittimi, sia più incisiva per evitare di lasciarci con un fardello che ad oggi è riuscita solo parzialmente e con grandi difficoltà ad alleggerire“.
